Song said all confirmed and suspected cases, as well as people with symptoms, will be sent to designated hospitals, while those who have had close contact with infected or suspected people will be quarantined.

The Chinese mainland reported 30 new imported COVID-19 cases on Sunday, bringing the total number of people infected with the virus from abroad to 723.
