The agreement between MERCOSUR and the European Union is a great opportunity to expand the production of our food. “The agreement is a huge opportunity. The European Union is a market of 800 million people which gives us the possibility of expanding food production, which has been the basis of the founding of our country," he said in a conversation with Customs News.
The CONICET scientist explained that “The agreement implies continuing to be a food-supplying country, which in many cases was already happening, because Argentina was already providing food such as meat and grains. Van Gelderen continued: “There are two major opinion pollsters in the world on these issues: Europe and the United States.
