The Ministry of Agribusiness has established the procedure for those interested in exporting beef to the United States, the balance of which is 15.000 tons, under the international criterion "first come, first served."
In the resolution 12/2019 Published in the Official Gazette on Tuesday (26.3.2019), meat packing companies, producer groups and associations of breeders of bovine breeds are given details of the requirements to access the quota for boneless beef and frozen, boneless beef.
It should be remembered that the Government of that country gave Argentina a quota of 20.000 tons and the first 5.000 were authorized in January 2019.
In order to complete the total quota, Agroindustria decided to repeat this criterion and set September as the deadline to present "a definitive proposal to distribute the quota for the commercial cycle that begins on January 1, 2020."
